THIS ARTICLE is one of my favorite headlines of the morning.  In the realm of journalism, it’s long and pretty much gives the story, which is a no-no.  However, I feel it’s so effective.  Political cartoonists can have a field day with this one.

It’s not the most fantastic article, but the subject is fascinating which makes it good.

I hope there’s a long follow-up because it sounds like it is from a spy novel.  And everyone loves a real life espionage.  (The fact that it’s also British intelligence makes you wonder if James Bond is behind this).

I commend you on your interesting article LA Times!

OBL Articles

Here are some of my favorite articles on the coverage of the death of terrorist Osama bin Laden:

  1. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/05/02/us-binladen-body-idUSTRE7417FY20110502 I think this is my favorite article out of the bunch. It covers the mysterious Osama burial

  2. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0511/54162.html John Brennan has been saying a little too much, perhaps?

  3. http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/20tAVE/www.good.is/post/how-close-was-the-guy-who-tried-to-kill-osama-with-a-sword-last-year/?utm_source=supr I had never heard of this story last year, but it’s pretty funny.  Something out of a comic book almost.
